Henry Tran's Log
« on: December 29, 2007, 02:40:16 PM »
I am starting this log so that I can keep track of everything I'm doing because lately I've gotten lazy. I haven't done much since I started in June '07 so now it's time to kick it into gear.

Splittin' this up into 3 sections:
Diet
Exercise
Goals

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Diet:

2:00 PM Woke up and ate a baked potato with bacon bits, sour cream, and butter (I really need to eat healthier  :-\)

3:00 PM Drank the equivalent of a cup of apple juice straight from the bottle (It was almost empty anyways)

5:00 PM Ate Cookies and Cream ice cream and a caramel flan (I'm surprised I'm not fat after eating like this for so long)

Exercise:

Not much so far except for an hour of Wii tennis, but the day is still early! Hopefully I can get on the bowflex for a while.
(At my sister's house)

Goals by the end of the 8th grade:

1. At least 5 pull ups, both inverted and normal (Can do two right now)
2. 50 pushups without rest
3. Grasp the basic techniques and gain creativity
4. Run a mile at least once this year
5. Eat/drink less sugar and get more nutrients
6. Get a handstand for at least 30 secs

Wish me luck!  :)

Exercise: (All worked on serratus anteriors, which I think are the shoulders)

15 lbs 20 times x 3
25 lbs 15 times x 2
35 lbs 10 times x 1
20 lbs 20 times x 1
10 lbs 20 times x 1

I don't know how to add up the pounds for bowflex, but the numbers I listed for pounds are the sum of the numbers of the bows on one side.

Deltoids are the shoulders. Serratus anterior is more or less running along the ribs.

Also, do you have to use a bowflex?

Use compound exercises! I would suggest you read the link in my sig.

Whoo... it's been a long time since I've posted in this dusty thread.

Well anyways, alot has changed since Dec 2007.

Lately I've been eating less and less fatty foods (yay!  :))

I joined the track team a couple of weeks ago to build up running endurance and today was my first track meet.

Had 3:31 (Not really sure about this time. I couldnt hear what the guy said) as my 800m time.

At least I went 12 secs faster than when I first started.

 ;D ;D ;D
