Location?

When I move out, I want to head to New York. However, I don't know all that much about it. Which neighborhoods and cities are more urban compared to rural? Which places are best for parkour? What type of jobs are our there?

There's also a fair amount of spots in central park... Battery park is pretty cool too, but if you go with too many people you'll get kicked out.
