I saw an entry on "Belle-able" but not one for "David Belle" so here is some basic information, with links to more in-depth info.

David Belle was raised in France, in suburbs outside of Paris. As a young boy, inspired by firefighting, martial arts and warfare, (especially because of his father) he created games which were the foundation for what would become a life-style embraced by thousands world-wide.

David Belle is recognized as the sole founder of what we call "Parkour."
