Rock out. Lots of new members. Get to training you guys. Read / watch the tutorials and be sure to condition early and often. Once you start pulling off some of the more fun movements, you won't be able to stop  ;D .
My promise for the month: three sets of handstand pushups (upto 5 reps now...)

I keep having these dreams that I'm falling.

wow..

I should have seen this a LOOOONG time ago.

I'm Nic (Phish preferably). I'm from Toledo, OH. although I lived in Oklahoma, Mississippi, and California for a good amount of time.

I have been involved in Parkour for a long time, but I was never actually training as a Traceur until August (4 months ago), so my "technique" is still fairly sloppy.
I would absolutely LOVE to jam it up sometime, ANYTIME. I just need some notice. I'm 18 years old, (since Nov 15th), and I'll be going to Bowling Green State University next year. by then I'll be willing to jam anytime anywhere (within reason).

If you live in the area, LET ME KNOW. I'll set something up, no problem whether you're good or bad.. I'm still figuring things out, but I can see technique better than I can do, so I can still help others figure out where they're messin' up!

Yeah, that's me!

Videos are always welcome, just make it relatively short and to the point. Also, make it clear in the thread title what exaclty the video is, (e.g. training, demo, recent jam, etc.) and whether you are looking for guidance and critiques on any particular move.

What's up guys.  I'm bobb, out of rock hill, sc.  I've been doing parkour for about a month now, kungfu for about 7.  My buddy got me into parkour, and we train together as often as schedules permit.

I'm looking for other traceurs in the Charlotte area, so if you're nearby, holla.

Hey people!

I'm actually new to this whole parkour thing, so I'm starting from scratch.  But it looks like a lot of fun, and a great workout!  I (currently) live in Mankato, Minnesota.

I don't actually know anyone on this website, I went out looking for a place exactly like this, so that's how I got here.

Anyway, hi!

Oops, didn't notice this at first. I guess I should introduce myself here.

Hello, I'm Ryan, AKA Neon.

I'm self named Neon, for nor specific reason. I tried to come up with a name for myself once, back when I started, and tried to use internet translators to translate "Pressure" into latin. (this was because I thought I did better under pressure. I know that's stupid and untrue now). It came out "Neion". So around the time I joined APK, I decided to finally come up with a name for myself, and thought back to that. It didn't seem weird using an element as a name because my friend's PK name is Argon.

I live in central Florida, and I've been doing Parkour for over a year and a half now, and haven't accomplished a great deal because I was pretty fat when I started. I can perform most of the basic vaults for Parkour, but I really need to work on the specific techniques (getting my hips up, etc).

I never did any previous martial arts/sports. I tried competitive sports like basketball, tennis, swimming, but I never stuck with any of it and didn't particularly enjoy it. In truth, out of everything I've ever started in my life, Parkour (and Trombone) is the only thing I've stuck with.

I try to stick to pure Parkour as much as I can, for no particular reason at all. I have a slight disrespect for those who don't make the difference between Parkour and Freerunning, mainly because I believe flips have no place in Parkour. Although, I have to admit, I have been practicing my front flips and wall flips.

I train with Renzhe, if you know who they are. And they've been a great help, even though we disagree on a lot. I train with a few local guys that aren't with Renzhe as well, like Argon (he might post here) and Steve (not sure).

I would like Parkour to stay relatively small, and loathe the day that Parkour becomes anything like skateboarding, a sport, or majorly commercialized (Olympics).
There is just one reality left: We are here and it is now.
