Heya everyone, I'm Dawn, and I've been a big fan of parkour for a while, just never knew the name! I live in a pretty rural area, and I'm what people call n00btastic, so hopefully I'm not gonna slay myself :P New to the sport, so any helpful advice is....well helpful. Who wants to go running? ;)
That kindve question would be easier answered if we knew at least what state you live in  ;D

But welcome to APK!

Hi, I'm Josh. I'm in middle Georgia. I'm kinda new to this. I did it ten years ago before I knew it had a name an such. Internet does wonders.  ;D I just got outta the Army an am in pretty good shape. Last time I timed myself, I had a 12:45 min 2 mile. I used to fence on a professional level, and took a bit of kung fu. So my first question is, is it possible to be overly fit? I mean if you work out alot, you'll weigh more.. is that bad for this? I can't do pull ups tho lol any advice??. Oh, an honestly, is it jus me or does the beginning stuff seem mostly like common sense? I'm not trying to be haughty but.. Most of it seems.. natural I guess. I jus don't want to underestimate it an get hurt.

Any advice is appreciated!!

Hey!

Just signed up ten minutes ago and wrote my first blog.

My name is Jessie, username is Fun Size. I'm from Milwaukee.

I recently became obsessed with free running after thinking it was the most badass sport for the past four years.  My first practice was last night for about two hours. f#ckin' TITS.

I'll be posting videos of my progress and blogs about my experiences.

See ya!

So this definitely isn't my first post. I'm not sure why I didn't come here first, but uh...better late than never, right?

Anyway, my name is Dustin Lagaly. I'm 19, currently attending Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR pursuing a degree in music (although I go to Hot Springs, AR frequently. That's where I'm from). I got into parkour from a long chain of related interests starting with spontaneous building climbing. Been training since around the beginning of August, so I'm not a COMPLETE noob, but still relatively new. If anyone's around where I live (highly doubtful), hit me up sometime.

Hey my name's Ryan residing in New Mexico. I started off hopping over objects and climbing things just cause I thought it was fun.  That was not Freerunning, and now I've started training so I can freerun better.  I'm coming off a great soccer season so I mostly need to stay in shape, though I have a long way to go.  I was looking around the forum and I'm glad i posted here first!

Hi everyone,

My names Ross, I'm a senior in high school in Michigan.

I'm pretty new to parkour, but I love the concept of it and it's something I hope to get quite good at in the future.  Matt z is who I've learned most of what I know from and I usually train with him, when I get the time.

Outside of parkour, I'm a musician, play several instruments, and am looking to go into composition in college.

Hey, My name is Derek and i've never officially started parkour but i Live in Marysville OH and work for the Boy's and Girls Club, I LOVE playing outside with them on the play ground and playing tag and jumping and swinging from equipment in order to stay away from them and I'm looking for anyone who can teach me some skills to better myself at parkour or how to train.
