Whats up APK, I've been a member for a while, I must say this site is pretty amazing and is always up to date.  I've been training parkour for at least the past year but I can't say that it is intense training.  I would like to train more and really wish I could network with some people in my area, I live in Tampa, Florida and go to USF.
Also, while surfing iTunes the other night, I found a new york times podcast of DAVID BELLE performing Parkour at the New york Times festival.  Its a bout an hour or so long and David answers questions about why he invented the "parkour" and his whole philosophy on it.  This I feel is extremely important for traceurs to watch and it is now the best thing on my ipod.  Oh, did i mention its FREE! so the next times you are on iTunes, go to the itunes store, type in Parkour in the search box and look for the new york times festival podcast titled parkour.

Okay hi, see parkour is not a verb you shouldn't say I parkour or I am gonna go parkour just stick a train in front of it so you go train parkour and the word for someonethat does parkour is a Traceur.
See you around the forums! ;D

Hi! I'm Swap from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

I've been a member of this forum for a bit, but I think I'm actually going to start to use this forum lol.
I've been training for probably about a 9 months now, a year and a quarter if you count when I wasn't training very hard. I'm 14.
That's me in a nutshell :D

Hey y'all, Tony here in Poughkeepsie.

I've been doing tricking for about a month now, and I'm starting to get into free running; I'll have more time to train over the summer, when I actually have a spare hour or two.  ;D

Right now I trick with my local circus troupe, and I'm looking to put a greater emphasis on acrobatics with them; right now, it's a lot of toy-based circus. Cool - very cool, actually - but not my forte.

Hey

I'm joe. I'm 17, and just getting into this. I don't even really know why, I heard about parkour a long time ago and suddenly I couldn't get it out of my head.

So I went out, bought some running shoes, learned to roll, land, etc, and next thing I knew it I was standing proudly atop a shed in my yard. w00t w00t!

I live in the redneck back-country of Western PA. There's very little known about parkour around here, but one of my friends had heard the word "freerunning" before, so maybe someday it will spread  ;D

Hey everyone, I'm Gabriel Menslage from Houston, Texas. I'm 13 years old and extremely dedicated to parkour, even though I just started. I'm mostly working on basics such as rolls and landings, but I'm not sure where to go from here.

Eh, I found it a week or two before PKCali. Never felt like joining 'til I saw how cool it was. ^^
Not saying that PkCali isn't cool, though. XD They're both Parkourtastic! (That is now a word.)
