Hello, my name is Hunter(aka Kazzy, Kasura, Kaz, n00b) im new to parkour but ive known about it for a while(although i couldnt figure out what the dang name was!). Im from a small town in California called Tulare(in the san juaqine valley right next to visalia and 45 minutes from fresno) and...uhhhh.... i need help, i tried doing a hard session of n00bish parkour w/ my friends today, and i did a vault, but the bar wuz just a bit too high and my foot got caught and i ate cement, but not too hard. if there is any1 nearby, i could use some training/training buddy. oh, and im 13

There are actually tons of practitioners across Cali and probably a few in your area. Check out the local communities to see if you can find a session or get one started!

Hi. My names Josh. I've seen free running videos on the internet but never really thought about getting into it. Then I played a game called Mirrors Edge and thought that I could do this. But I didn't put any effort into it. So I started this diet and workout plan and started thinking it was tme to look into this free running stuff. So I started looking into it and learned that what I acctually wanted to get into was parkour. That's when I found this site. So I started at the "what is..." links and ended at the "how do i get started" side. I am looking for people in or around Fallon, NV. If you are out here please PM me.

Hello everyone, im new here (obvious) Im 16 & i live in maryland. I want to learn more in parkour & freerunning & wanted to find out if there is any places i could get to to practice & train (gymnasiums with mats or relative places, ) best workout metheds & etc & people that freerun & could help me learn. It seems like this is the best source so thx for creating a resource like this!!

I'm in the Bay Area, CA, work for a online org, and am a mom. ! I used to dance intensively and got into the physical intensity and the grace of parkour and free running. I know there's a good group in SF but I'd love to meet people training in the East Bay. Two babies plus work means not a ton of time, but you might be surprised how many crunches and push ups you can get in during three minutes of downtime.

I'd love to meet someone in the East Bay who could teach me a bit.

I saw and heard about freerunning/parkour about 2 years ago, and thought it was amazing.

Names Adam, im from Cumberland, MD and im a newbie...lol

Im 20 yrs old and ive been jumping off stuff since i can remember.
i got interested into free running awhile ago when i saw a commercial but recently realize and stumbled upon parkour, and realized they were two different worlds. You can say i do a little of both, imma little laggy in the acrobatics, i never took gymnastics but i taught myself at a young age the basic front/back flips and arials and so on. The weather is crappy here since being in the winter but i hope to keep practicing and maybe make a career out of this.

i live in a smallllllll town, again, a smmalllll town. but there are nice buildings and areas to parkour.

Hey, im from Cincinnati, Ohio. I happened across a video in the NY times video a while ago and have become in love with the sport since. A friend and i from school are just starting out parkour and hopefully bringing it to others in the area, but who knows. My favorite activity is climbing besides just being outside.
