Hey, this is Aaron AKA Opiclops9

So I'm totally new to this stuff but ever since I saw Casino Royal I was interested in Parkour. I've never had any interest in conventional sports so I figured that this would be a good way for me to get in shape and have some fun. If anyone has any tips they would be much appreciated. I'm 15 and live in Inwood, WV (near Martinsburg and Winchester).

Hey I don't know anyone else who even knows what Parkour is so if you live near my area leave me a message or something.  :)

Hey everyone, my name is Andrew Smith and I live in Spanaway Washington.  I've always been intrigued by parkour, but I never thought that there was an entire community of people who are into this sport.

If any of you have any tips for someone new to the sport I would really appreciate them.

Andrew

Hey im Holytotemic,
I started freerunning/parkour when i was 15 and continued into the military...however i was unaware up until about 2 months ago it had a name, i just did it to do it. then i stumbled upon some youtube videos and started researching....come to my amazement what i have been doing for years has a following...AMEN!!!! anyways i have been inactive for 6 years due to a partial knee replacement in the military. I got lazy...no excuses. Now im 27 and a noob again, with an extra 60 pounds on me. any tips on training from 0 endurance to get back to my former glory is definately welcome. I'm just overjoyed there is a community that follows this lifestyle out there. I have become very sedentary since my knee surgury and i am noticing it is taking a huge toll on my health and well being. PM me email me, shoot call me...any tips to get me back in the scene would be great...plus any freerunners in the buffalo,ny area holler i have met noone in this area that comes close to a traceur.

You should probably check out www.RochesterParkour.com. We're a bit closer than NYC.

There's also some people actually in Buffalo, I'll forward them to this thread for you.

Hey everyone, my name is David.  I'm 23 and a student at the University of Minnesota.  I've been running and jumping on stuff since I was little, but joined Parkour just two weeks ago.

My favorite things are wall running and balancing.  I'd like to work on vaults.

Hey everybody!

This is Jarrod, a 24 years old new father, biker, geek, and I'm new to the whole parkour thing. I live up in Jim Thorpe PA, a little mountain town with not much to do. I really want to get into parkour as a way to get back into shape more than anything. That and it'll make getting around town alot more interesting. Hopefully I'll get a chance to meet some of you out there.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Jon McIntyre but everyone calls me Jonny Mack.

I currently live in Spartanburg, South Carolina and consider myself far too old to begin the Parkouor lifestyle. I think that is exactly the reason I am doing it.  ;D

I just turned 38 at the end of September and with age comes a slower level of progression, slower healing, and all of the great things that we can all look forward to in time.

My musculature isn't bad, but so far the cardio workouts are what kick my face in. I plan to take things slow and see where PK/FR can take me.

I honestly haven't been as excited to get into something since the first time I saw a girl naked. Wootness!

Any other oldsters out there who have some good advice that is specific to my advanced age, hit me up.

   Carve Your Own Path,
                    Jonny Mack

greetings all, my name is Marschall, aka Divine.

currently conditioning my body for parkour, hope to start my training with the APK dvd within the next 2 weeks.

always been very active, and in love with capabilities of the human body. im a certified personal trainer, and i train many "hard style" martial arts. was looking to try a soft style (capoeira) and begin freerunning as well. also currently training for u.s. army special forces.

looking forward to meeting everyone, making some friends, and becoming part of the community.
anybody in phoenix hit me up, later tracers ;D
