My name is Ellis, aka go_faster. I live in South Jordan, Ut. I have been practicing parkour since August of 2007. I have been practicing freerunning a little since about April 2008. My user name on youtube is landluiser (it's my cars name don't ask). I produce workout dvd's, which you can see at discountworkouts.com. I don't have any good vids on my youtube yet but I do love this philosophy/art! I practice a little almost daily. I'm 23.

Shazzam. You'll see that a lot from me.

Sup, I'm Bobby B, if you couldn't tell from my forum name, but I prefer Bobby Rock. (Considering changing my first name to David, for the initials ;D )
I'm 15, and just starting to learn, though I've been interested for a while.

I live in Myrtle Beach, SC.

I don't know of an PK groups here, so I'm currently learning on my own (With the help of Urban Current's youtube channel).
Have the courage to live, because anyone can die- Robert Cody.

I like speedsolving Rubik’cubes and other puzzles. I like Youtube. My real name is just way too unpronounceable. I usually just use my initials (or part of name), but if feel this name is more descriptive. I just started parkour this week and I like it a lot. Learning some simply rolls and vaults.

Edit:
changed display name to initials, I hope that's better. :)

You shouldn't try to do multiple experiments to calculate linear vertical acceleration over large distances.

I don't speedsolve, but I do cube. My best time is 1:18, but I average around 1:45

Hey, all, I'm Tom.  I'm 28, I'm from Guam(it's a U.S. territory, folks born here are U.S. citizens), and I've been self-training for a few weeks now.  I've been learning about parkour for a while, but it took me a long-ass time to get it together and actually start training...lol.

I actually started learning over at a British parkour/freerunning site that shall remain nameless, but rhymes with worldwideham...haha...but, yeah, I got word of this site by reading some of their forums and seeing the plight of a couple of other lost Yanks, so I wandered over, and I'm way more comfortable here.

The explanations here are way better, the exercises and diet advice make a lot more sense, and the forums are filled with helpful info and advice, rather than drawn-out pseudo-intellectual arguments over the philosophy behind why we do what we do.

Keep up the great work, I get the feeling I'll be here for a good long while...:)

Hi, my name is Travis and I'm an alcoholic.  Er, wrong place!
:)
I live in Sacramento, CA   (Antelope if you want to get technical), and I just started learning Parkour a week ago.
Afraid I don't know anyone in real life who does Parkour, other than my friends whom have just got involved in it at the same time as me.  :(

Hey everyone, I have been on the site for a few months but never posted hello so I figured I would do it now.  My name is Corey Ehrler (AKA Rift) and I am from Phoenix, AZ but I am currently posted up in Flagstaff.  I have learned a lot from the site so far and look forward to more.  I like the vibe I get from everyone here on the site. I am glad to be a part of the community. ;D

Hi,

My names Josh.  I'm brand new to actually training in parkour, but I've been interested in it for awhile.  I"m a student at NC State University.

Hi,

My names Josh.  I'm brand new to actually training in parkour, but I've been interested in it for awhile.  I"m a student at NC State University.

Nice to have you here, Josh.

A few little tips to help you out :]

Stay connected with the community here.
Work on QM and Balance a lot.
Take things slow and build up progressively. That's a crucial principal in Parkour.
Challenge yourself.

May your training take you far.
