yoyoyomega I'm Aaron from MA (where parkour seems to be widely unknown ). I'm pretty new to this. I have nobody to train with >.<. Hopefully I'll meet somebody when I start taking gymnastics classes (taking them to give me the basic skills needed for parkour ). If anybody from or around the fall river, ma or surrounding areas
wants to train let me know! training alone is boring >.<

Helllooo I'm Junseok (pronounce Joon Sock) and I like the color yellow
I've done Tae Kwon Do for 5 years and I'm looking for some new physical activity.
I still train on my own in my spare time though.
Parkour looked like fun because it looks like it involved a
lot of running, jumping, and climbing (all three of which I enjoy).

Hey all

I'm Greg from STL, MO and i have been doing this stuff since i was about 10. just didnt know it had a name until about a year and a half ago. anyway cant wait to meet some people in the area!
I always face north, therefore I have no guides other than my body and mind. By always facing north I am always moving forward and up, regardless of the obstacle in my path.

Always something i have been interested in and i know it will help me get into shape along with the Crossfit workouts that i have been doing.  Hope to see some of you around, and have a great weekend.

It's not a rule, just a suggestion. If you want, I think you can stlil actually change your username without re-registering. But it's not a big deal either way.

Hey Guys,

My name is Nick, and I'm fairly new to Parkour, but I've been climbing for about five years now so the sport doesn't seem wholly unfamiliar. I'm currently in Grand Rapids, MI, but I go to school in Kalamazoo, MI. Cage fighting is my current passion; I train Muay Thai and BJJ about 45 hours a week, so I decided to start training le parkour to increase my mobility and flexability in the cage (and it looked damn fun). If anyone in the W. Michigan area ever wants to get together and train parkour or martial arts just shoot me an email (k06na01@kzoo.edu).

I'm CrazyWalrus and I'm just now starting Parkour and Free Running.  Any advice would be appreciated since I'm new to all this.  I think the tutorials are great but I'm kind of confused on some of it.

Well I guess I'll do the formal intro thing. My name is Brendan and I live in Fort Myers Florida. A few friends and I just got into parkour/freerunning. We've been training now for a couple of weeks and are definitely becoming better. Thanks in part to the tutorial section of this site. Well that's about it. Glad to be part of the community.

Hi all,

I've been reading these forums for quite a while now, probably around three months. I've recently had a lot more exposure to them, since the site parkour.net closed down.
I'm a sophmore at PEA (Exeter, NH). I've tried to start a Parkour club at my school, but there's still not a lot of interest.

I came back from France a couple of days ago, and I was probably a couple of kilometers away from Lisses at one point, but my parents absolutely refused to take me. Talk about unlucky.
I started parkour in March, so I've been doing it for about half a year. However, I should focus a lot more on actually improving once school starts.

Hello, I am Nick, and I am new to Parkour!
One problem I have is lack of places to use the parkour moves.

Yo! Greyson from Central Valley,CA
I've been in martial arts for 2 years now and are just getting into Parkour.
Parents won't let me go far by myself so i have to stick with a wall and a few ledges i guess it's a good way to start.
