Names Lupe, and I have recently found an interest in Free Running.

I am horribly overweight but, losing it fast because I have my mind set on becoming a free runner. I am 25 years old, have no back, or other health problems other then my obesity. I plan on using Free Running to help me achieve a better way to keep off the weight I am losing now.

I went from 340 down to 315 back up to 327 but I plan to be 215 by June 27th. Which is my birthday. I plan on starting my training in Free Running then as well. I live in New Port Richey Florida, email if your in the area and want to help me out with my goal of droping to 215 and starting to train then.

Nothing will stop me. I will be one of the best Free Runners.

hey i'm mercy

i'm from the elkhart area (or rather i live there right now)

i'm learning parkour and free running as a good excersize aside from my dancing (i do gothic fusion belly dance)

i'm not trying to learn though as a weight lost, but rather as a way to move better and gain strength (which i lack) as i'm 4'11"

I'm Chris and I live in Columbia, MO.

I discovered parkour last year and was immediately awed by the ability of the human body to overcome obstacles so fluidly.  Being out of shape hampered my enthusiasm for the sport, but this year I decided to throw caution to the wind, get in shape, and start learning.

Hiiiii I'm Mimi, well okay, that's what it tells you, but I'm Cheryl

A couple of friends and I have taken an interest in Free Running, or Parkour, whichever word fits your fancy. I myself am not in the best of shape, but I'm really hoping to get fit before doing some of this. I have been studying, yes, studying, several videos and such. It looks like something I'd love to get into. I live in Duluth Minnesota (god and everybody knows it's colder than heck here right now) and I hope that the snow will melt soon enough for me to go out and try some simple moves.

So, that's me in a nutshell, if I didn't provide enough information, feel free to ask me questions.
I am strong; I am fast; I am a traceur; Think you can out run me now? Sure, you use the obvious path, but I will use the fastest.
Obstacle? What obstacle?
21.6 pounds lost! 50 more to go!

Hey,

My name is Brent Langrehr (don't have any nicknames), I'm from Upland, CA, and I'm a Christian. I enjoy running and crossfit training.

My friend showed me some youtube videos of freerunning and parkour so I decided to google those words and I found this website. I'm itching to start training on this stuff but unfortunately I need to take it easy and wait for my sprained ankle to heal.

Hello all!

I once practiced parkour daily but after I started college/got married my practice fell by the wayside.  I have missed it terribly.  With the encouragement of my wonderful wife I am making the time to begin again with my personal parkour practice.  I am at Arizona State University and live in Mesa, AZ.  I would like to train with some of my fellow desert dwellers but as of now I train alone.  When I have progressed to a comfortable state I will again join with Francesco Caban for his parkour classes at ASU and/or his gym in Scottsdale, AZ (http://www.alliedparkourtraceurfederation.com).  As a tracking tool I have begun a blog to aid me in my progress (zrakothetraceur.blogspot.com).

As a little blurb about me outside of parkour (kind of) I am studying Bioengineering at Arizona State University and eventually will get my Ph.D. so that I can do research.  The specialty in my studies is biomechanics with the end result of developing devices and systems to restore movement to those who have lost it to disease or injury.  It is parkour that inspired me to study this field and it will be my love of movement that will restore such to all those who I help.

Hello, I am Grant but friends use my name in random ways so I have many nicknames.

25 years old and live in California's Central Valley. Going to school for computer and network repair.

Interests are music (Rock, Metal, Stringed-instruments, and Hardcore), singing/screaming and playing lefty bass guitar, tattoos, art, and any kind of video gaming but I am a hardcore Zelda fan at heart.

I have been watching and reading up on Parkour as well as Freerunning for some time now. I feel like I am ready to try my hands (and feet) at Parkour.

My short term goals: Work on my upper body strength and endurance (I fail at pull ups ; ;).
My long term goals:  To not fail at pull ups and achieve the sense of freedom it seems like Parkour gives ones self.

Any pointers or help is welcome and greatly appreciated.
If I am at peace... something is wrong.

Hey guys,

George here. I've been with parkour for about a year and a half now and she and I are going strong. I love to do speeds, kongs, and definitely wall runs. I hang with her in PA, specifically near Plymouth Meeting, Conshohocken, and Whitemarsh.

Part of LVPK as well.

Anyone nearby message me and we'll train!

Heey,
Jeff Webb. From southern ontario. I've had a casual interest in the sport for a few years and recently decided to start taking my training more seriously. I heard about parkour from a friend who i train with in track and field. He's basically the major person i've trained with thus far.. though i'm planning some trips up to PKTO once the summer comes around.
