Parkour and Freerunning is expanding throughout the country with a powerful force. But as a growing activity, there is often an issue of finding others around you that also participate in Parkour and Free-running, especially if you don't live in a highly populated area. Because of this, American Parkour has set aside and entire section of our forums dedicated to finding training partners, arranging get-togethers (or "jams"), and everything in between. The Locals Only Section is organized alphabetically by state, and we have also added a few extra sections for popular metropolitan areas and international interests. Once you find your state, country or area, click on it and view the current posts (usually users will post their locations within the state). If you don't see anyone from your specific area or city, feel free to create a new post asking if there is someone near you. There are Sub-forums within each local board for Jams only, use this forum to look for, or plan your own jam and train with your local community! And please be cautious, while most members of the APK community are great people, we can't control who looks at the forums so be careful about posting too much personal info and going to meet someone in person.

Good Luck!

i would recommend setting up a post with the area you live in and asking people to meet up with you.

See I dont have anyone in my area, so i just gotta do it on my own, or go back to the cities with everyone to jam for a while, or see if they want to come out here. If you know people who do it, just meet up. and if you dont have gas, a vehicle, or anybody else that does it.... Stare out the window depressed and imagining yourself doing it. Or go out and do it, maybe youll inspire someone, and then theyll train with you, and maybe itll keep expanding... But all the people in my area are just drunk and lazy... Sometimes i dislike the Rez. But i like it at the same time. I just wish there was more areas to train.

I wouldn't be into Parkour if it weren't for Hunter. Cheesy
I'm trying to find someone else, who would take it seriously, but nobody does.

Yeah, he can't take things seriously. But I don't want to find some random stranger. Sad
