I've heard of glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM. What are all the options for joint supplements out there? Pros/cons? Stories?

I've also heard of lurosil, I don't know very much about it but I guess it is supposed to increase the cartilage around your joints.  More cartilage means more joint strenght, and from what I've heard it makes you feel veey springy ;)

i was talking to my boss( a pharmisist) and he says glucosimine was proven to work better in hprses then humans... thats all he said, it could mean thats its good, but it just works better in horses, or its horrible, unless your a horse, But he did say its more effective then cod liver oil... i think.

Cod liver oil(pills...ingested)does wonders to lubricate your joints-- and it's all natural.  I occasionally use it for my knees.

I have been taking (according on peer advice) Fish Oil and Joint supplements on a daily basis since I started getting active and it's done wonders for my knees. I've been involved in quite a few painful mishaps in my life and as a result of that my knees used to feel and sound like those of a seventy year old man. Now they feel springy, there is no pain when doing squats and landing falls/jumps, and they sound a little less like kindling being slowly snapped in half.

Fish oil seems like a pretty generic sype of supplement, but for my joints I use Move Free Joint Strengthener.

Check it out!

A couple good things are Calcium with Magnesium, MSM, Flax seed oil/flax seeds, & plain yogurt.
