NY Photographer Looking To Start Parkour Photo-Project
« on: January 27, 2006, 09:52:49 AM »
Hi all,

I've been fascinated by Parkour since I first saw it five years ago.  I am looking to do a photo story on Parkour and would like to take portraits of any members of any skill level.  I work in a way that I dont think has been done by other photographers covering the Parkour movement, I would love to either meet with you privately, or as a group and take some pictures.  This is not a fashion shoot, and is not at this point intended on publication.  When the project is complete I would like to try and shop it around to different magazines for possible publication.  I am trying to document the movement and the spirit of Parkour more than the actual physical or athletic aspect (these would be covered as well but are the obvious).  Please contact me if you are interested.

Cheers,
Joel Barhamand
