Midwest Jam-Madison, WI-July 18-20, 2008
« on: October 26, 2007, 08:02:20 PM »
After much discussion about where to host the Midwest jam next year, Madparkour has decided to step up and host. We've chosen the weekend of July 18th for the date. More details to come as we get closer to the planning, but we're so excited and honored to host you all!

Okay, to be honest, I'm also kind of scared. :) But I'm excited too and really looking forward to learning from everyone and sharing what a wonderful city Madison is with you!
She followed slowly, taking a long time,
as though there were some obstacle in the way;
and yet: as though, once it was overcome,
she would be beyond all walking, and would fly.

It's a long way off to be making any promises, but Mercury Parkour and I will definitely have it on the calander and try our best to make it.

Any way to post some pics of hotspots that you think will accommodate 40-70 people? I think that weould be a big help since we don't have that many photos / videos form MAD (that I know of?) to go by ...

There are TONS of hotspots in Madison that could accommodate that many people -- over the coming weeks we'll take some pictures and post them.

Maybe I could convince my parents to go visit my aunt in Lacrosse. That's kind of close to Madison, right?

8 hours to madison, whew.  Maybe hop on the mega bus to chicago and hitch a ride with someone. or big carpool.

If you end up coming, M2, maybe you can bring that DVD of photos from the beast coast jam.    ;)

Heh. Well, it could be, relatively speaking. It's about 140 miles away. :)

Oooh, I was gonna host it in Minneapolis...thought it was a little early to plan it though. Oh well, next year!  I'll definitely be there with as many people as I can bring (or who can come) from mpls!

Very good point. Maybe Madison 18-20, then Minneapolis 21-23...  I mean... while we're up there..

Hmmmm, it could be huge!!! Well, what do other people think? We could, but a lot of people(or at least me) would be really tired...
No reason why it can't just be next year. I'm fine with that, just as long as I get some people to Minneapolis, I'm happy.

Yay!

I hope so. :D It's no Cat Fountain, but we've got good spots, and a GREAT city.

I really hope you can make it!

I personally think that a Minneapolis and Madison jam would be cool, but you should do it on two weekends in a row, as opposed to four days. Cause I would want it on a weekend, and if I can make one and not the other that would be nice.

That's true. I'm sure some people work...

I'm possibly going to be nomading across the country this summer, so consecutive weekends would be just as fine with me.
