I still need to take pics of all the obstacles I have at my house.  If time permits there are a few other decent jam locations in EP, but I think this will be all the time daylight will permit.

So far I have two photographers that will try to be with us at all times.  I also have a friend taking media editing courses in college that believes he can get a hold of an HD video camera.  Anyone else think they can bring anything of the sort to document this jam of awesome proportions?

This all looks like plenty of fun. Is there a concrete itinerary yet or are we winging it...because I think (not quite sure, mind you) that I'm staying at a hotel with a rental car....I'll need to know where to meet you guys at first.

Let me know!

Making all the final preperations!!! Anyone that is staying at my house, call me for the address. So far it looks like we will be having two separate area magazines covering the event, still trying to get some news stations to do a story.  Looking good.  Can't wait!!!!!

Can't wait to see pictures! I'm sure everyone had an awesome time.

How'd it go, guys?
She followed slowly, taking a long time,
as though there were some obstacle in the way;
and yet: as though, once it was overcome,
she would be beyond all walking, and would fly.

DUDE! This jam was f'n sick! This completely surpassed ALL of the expectations that I had.  I was so nervous before.  I was having doubts about the training locations and wether or not people would think that the trip, time off, and money they spent were worth it but everyone said they had a great time.  The skill level that was applied to the obstacles we have here has truely inspired me.  I will strive to be a better traceur.  Thanks to EVERYONE that came out to train.  You all are amazing individuals.  I will be posting pics and vids soon.  For now, here is a list of what went down.
Fri. Night
The gents from Texas Parkour (Matthew, Tim, Jereme, and Mike) showed up and ripped up the obstacles I set up in my back yard.
Shortly after Vaho and Jaren from Team Moz arrived and joined in on the light training.
We all then relaxed inside where myself and my brother and law proceeded to own everyone in Halo 3 (j/k)

Saturday we met up with the Oklahoma City, Team Odyssey, and Las Cruces guys for the NMSU/Unidad Park guys for an awesome day of jamming followed by a cookout at my house where we watched both Yamakasi movies and B13.

Sunday was the grand opening of The Concrete Jungle: School of Fighting and Parkour.  The day was opened up by live bellydancers (my wife and sister in-law), Capoeira Quinto Sol (a group of capoeira practicioners from Arizona, Las Cruces, and El Paso), four MMA bouts, and a parkour demo that the national jam guys got to participate in.  For a demo that had absolutely no choreography or preparation it looked very organized and professional. Since the gym jam I have gotten ALOT of positive feed back about the performance. I'm also glad that we could tie the grand opening in with the national jam, which gave all the attending traceurs the opportunity to do a live demo infront of a large crowd. I wish I could have gotten us more time to train in the gym but the owners cut us short, which is an issue I am addressing to make sure will never happen again.  After breaking for lunch we all met at the UTEP campus to continue the jam.  Everyone was pretty spent from the day before plus the gym so alot of people were taking it easy.  Plus, due to high winds, there was alot of sand in the air which is always crappy to train in.  We still had several individuals going strong and demonstrating some very advanced skills and capabilities that can only come from hard training and dedication.  I still can't believe some of the things I saw you guys do with obstacles I've been training on for several years and never even thought of attempting.  The training was again followed by another evening of debauchery at my house.  Halo 3, Rock Band, Beer, and Pizza.  Needless to say, everyone had a great time.

Monday was potential jam time, but everyone was pretty spent.  Alot of people went home, happy and hurting, but the Team Moz guys stayed behind to get some bad ass burgers at Friscos Burgers.  I'm going to ask them to change the name of their 4 meat patty, 4 slices of cheese, avacado, and green chili to the Vaho Slayer! J/K. I'll give him credit, there was almost nothing left.  I'm sure he was hurtingafter that tho cuz I know I was!

After asking around, alot of people said they had a great time here and if we were to do this again they would definately come back.  I'm already looking forward to planning next years jam.
Again, thanks to everyone for showing support.  You are all very cool individuals.  I had a great time training with everyone and I hope we meet again!
