it seems interesting to me, but with the bank robbing or stuff like that, i  think non-traceurs will think it something to be able to steal stuff easier.

they should take out the pretty boy and get david belle to play the main star he wouldnt let them give parkour a bad name i think theyll make it look bad (imo)
The best part of falling is getting back up again

                           both by David Belle

a bad traceur practices a technique until he gets it right,a good traceur practices a technique until he cannot get it wrong

Every girl in America will see that movie. Channing Tatum is an ex-abercrombie model and "the sexiest man ever"(quote my friend, whos a girl). Every girl I ask thinks he's like jesus. That's a good thing though, if he plays a traceur, than girls will consider all traceurs sexy.  ;D

Other than that I don't know, it'll def show the mainstream what Parkour is (or what it isn't). Again it's all how people take it.

p.s- the movie will probably be bad....just because thats Hollywood.
Yes, though if we can't do what he can they'll think were wimps.

i, think it would be pretty hard to outlaw parkour...i mean that would be limiting civil liberties quite a bit, i highly doubt the government could get away with limiting the way in which a particular person sees fit to move throughout his environment, that would be like banning rock climbing or whitewater kayaking, it's impossible really

The government gets away with income tax. Which is un-constitutional. They can ban it; it'd be just like skateboarding.
Whether you believe you can do it or you believe you can't; you're right.

Most people see jumping from one building to another builder as... jumping from one building to another buidling.  They don't really have a name for it because that's what it is.  Skateboarding involves a skateboard so if you just looked at someone with a skateboard you would think they were a skater. It'd be hard to pick out a traceur in a crowd because it doesn't really involve anything other than your own body.  It would be almost impossible to outlaw parkour, unless it were like "no running in the streets, or sidewalks, or using rails etc.."

they would constantly have to be watching for someone to do something because you can't just look at someone and go "a traceur!"

Well I don't see any other super athletic kids diving over planters and squeezing through tiny gaps in bars that don't do parkour.
