Finally!!!! i read through 11 pages of arguments about something just so that i could post this message! :'( I'd like to say that you all made me think (incase you didn't know, thinking is really bad for me, because i get confused and i go crazy, and think things to death). What i'd like to say for one is STFU & Run, i mean comon can't we stop arguing and get back to the real pk? Also i'd like to say that i like ice cream and long walks on the beach with turtles that say eat more crab! I think that this website needs more random, and less not random. Random is good. I like random things like 4 and @, also i wanted to say that if someone wants to bitch and moan about what pk is and what its not, let them bitch and moan, because other people's views of pk shouldn't affect you guys or anyone as an individual. Parkour is about individualism and everyone has their own style. Its not about fighting over what it is. If you truly know what pk is then you do it when you want, and you do what you want. Pk is everything, so stop debating what it is and just f#%$%$n do it! does that make sense? i hope not, because i hope i have confused you all enough so that you stop posting and start pking and start getting back to the heart of what pk really is!

Also were you guys being sarcastic about the competiton thing?

For the love of God, can a mod lock this thread... After i talk of course

I'm not going to say anything about this situation and i think that only people who know what they're talking about should talk about this(basically expirenced traceurs) no matter how much we philosphise(refering to the non-expirenced traceurs) it dosn't mean shit, just go out and start apying this to the real world, dont just talk on the forums. its the only way to get a good understanding of yourself, and of parkour. 2nd reason why we shouldnt talk, because if we say somthing "wrong" it will just be used against APK(not the site i mean the community) and theres already a long list of peopel who hate americans  i dont want to see traceurs on that list. 3rd We have no idea who these people are, and with us trying to defend APK guys from the "attakers" were making ourselves look like morons.

And I know i said i wasn't gonna comment on the situtation but this thing was like 12 freaking pages... im talking now...
But why do so many people *assume* that all the american traceurs will follow M2 off a marketing cliff, personally i like M2 he helped me with these wierd 1 footed distance kongs at the NYPK workshops,(i still havn't got them yet) and he changed me to the manilla gorilla, but if he does an EZ (which he won't!!!) give us some credit to have enough of an understanding of parkour to realize this on our own, and to look back and speak out against it, just because parkour is new to the states dosn't mean everybody has to look out for us. i want to say let us screw up, and we will learn from it, but i know it will hurt the PK community as a whole if the Corprations pick up the wrong ideas.so instead All i say is trust us not to f#ck up. We have good traceurs here, Skipper, gear, M2, asa, exo.... who are also decent people who dont want to f#ck anyone over

**assume- Don't assume, beacuse it just makes an ass out of u an me. Ass-u-me... get it, just thought i;d share this.lol

after reading that entire thread (i should get a medal), these are the ideas/points/arguments that stood out the most to me:

1. although somewhat unfortunate, the transaction of money because of parkour is a necessary evil.

2. parkour should have the positive side effect of changing a person for the better;  making them more aware of the world, and their responsibility therein.

3. andi k needs to realize that his methods of going about repping pawa are a detriment to pawa, and therefore by his own definition, to parkour and DB's message

ps. andi, please don't post towards me here, pm me. ;)

4. parkour in the US still has a soul

5. not skipper wins.  period.

6. flips can be parkour, but they aren't. ( i said it  :o)

7. if a product helps (it's net effect is good) then it is okay to have available.

Steez and Gorilla very nice posts. This topic has gone out the door if no one minds me saying that. Now i'll put my 2 cents in.

I believe that there is a good chance that "The Tribe" will help the community. Now i have meant only one of them but from what i have read from these forums they are able both mentally and physically to rep us. They seem like they can only help. Everyone is entiltled to thier own opinion but i say wait they do something before judging. Who knows this may go down the tube, or help the american parkour community like nothing else can.

ok, i am sorry in advance for breaking rule number one here (according to the hand book of forums, article 2, section 4, clause #3 ;)) by not reading pretty much any of this huge thread, but i was wonderin if the members of the tribe is like "set in stone" or something or if other people can join. or is it like a once somebody steps down then somebody can come up kinda thing?

Well, thanks for keeping this negative thread alive as long as humanly possible. If nobody has anything else to say which is pertinent to actually IMPROVING our forum atmosphere, I'm going to go ahead and lock this. ;)
