VT Campus Police - Our chance!

Last night an officer approached us and asked us what we were up to. Like always, I explained what we were up to and I expected that he would tell us to stop it and leave. But to my surprise, he thought it was really cool. He also told us that all we had to do was call in to the station, tell them where we were going and what we were doing beforehand, and they would be cool with it.

On top of that, I offered to train some of them and he told me about this training block they have going on soon and he would love to have me give a short demonstration and explanation. He wants me to send in a DVD with the basics and such so I'm working on that asap.

Just wanted to let you guys know that this is GREAT news  ;D

Copycat! Nearly the exact same thing is going on here at RIT. In fact, I'm waiting for a call from the campus safety officer now. He should call within seconds...

Leon if you need a hand with the DvD or anythign else just let the group know.  I for one am willing to help out when ever!

Any new info? My similar situation is stalling out, it took me forever to get in contact with him again, and then he missed us last weekend. Hopefully this weekend we'll see him.
