Hm. "Tension in your hands" doesn't really tell me much, but I'm sure there's more to it than that. I do that stretch when I need to and feel it's helpful for the things I need it for. But again, I'm not officially educated on stretching, and I'm certainly not a percussionist so there are probably aspects of that stretch that are bad for percussion for one reason or another. Thanks for looking into it for me.

I will use this as an opportunity to reiterate (based on what Progaparvib has said, above) that these stretches are not necessarily a prescribed formula that you MUST do. They are a series of stretches that work for me, and are merely suggestions. If a stretch is not appropriate for you, you should modify the stretch for your body or skip it altogether, based on your body type, training goals, and other needs.

Just a reminder. :) Thanks again, Progaparvib for sharing this information and following up on it. I will definitely be more mindful of this stretch to make sure I'm not hurting myself.

Also, FYI... the splits article should be coming in about 3 weeks. Thanks for waiting patiently, those of you who have been asking about it.
She followed slowly, taking a long time,
as though there were some obstacle in the way;
and yet: as though, once it was overcome,
she would be beyond all walking, and would fly.

This is great stuff... been waiting for an article like this for a while.

Going out to train today. I'll do every single one of those!
