This is going way too slowly.  I'm gonna try to get in at least 20 a day.  If we get 30 people doing 20 a day, that comes out to 4200 a week, I think we can easily do that.

i'm in  :) .  and they don't have to be consecutive guys and gals.  but the more you do a day, the higher your consecutive numbers will become.  this is actually a very functional game.

Weaksauce?!?  I'd like to amend by previous entry with the details of yesterday's workout...

Pullups: 80 strict + OAP: 50 each arm + 5K run

So please, don't be dissing the efforts of others while providing excuses as to why you can't contribute ;)

lol, Bob. 50 each arm? Forgive me if I'm kinda skeptical.

Anyway, all I'm saying is you would blunt your progress on OAP if you're working endurance pullups at the same time.

lol, maybe if he did them one or two per arm at a time, spread out across the entire day?  :P

i can only do 3 OAP, and after the second, my form goes all to hell, so really only two.  lol, pretty sad, aye?  i'm about to switch back to training for strength development though.  debating between whole body plyos, or maybe ring work mixed with weighted rope climbs.  thoughts, anyone?

Exactly - 10 sets of 5 per arm GTG style pretty much on the hour...

I don't want to sound rude but are you sure you can do 3 one arm pullups?  If you are telling the truth thats pretty impressive, considering Steven is probably stronger than anybody else on this forum in terms of one arms (and other stuff besides his weak little asian legs ;D) so I'm skeptical.

lol, didn't know steven was asian.

you don't sound rude at all sat.  if i had a cam i'd upload some video, but i don't.  like i said though, my form on the third is so horrible, i don't really count it, and it only goes to the chin, not the chest like the first two.  i've been doing pull ups, and chin ups, and rope climbs as well as heaps of other stuff since i was 4 (literally), so it's not like it's happened over-night.  i have a gymnastics background, as well as having trained as a circus acrobat, so i've probably done tens of thousands of reps with body weight exercises over the years.  so again, it's not like i decided, 'hey, i'm going to do one arm pulls and one arm chins', and just cracked them off on my first attempt.  i first started working on them about 10 years ago, assisting with the off-arm, and doing negatives.  eventually, i built up to it.  i haven't actively trained them with the purpose of increasing numbers in several years, but i make a habit of at least doing 1 everyday.  just to stay able to do them.

Ok yeah it sounds like you've got the background.  It just annoys me sometimes how people can say all this shit on the internet that they can't even do, but I definitely believe you now.  I'm also jealous.

In addition

pullups 26
total 600 (I was only gonna do 25 but I figured I would make it even.

Perhaps we diverge on terminology. My understanding (and it's usage on DragonDoor among other forums) is OAP = one arm pushup.  I believe Steve (who can correct me if I'm wrong) was also referring to pushups as the point of our banter was that he was not adding to the pullup total (I think it would be OK to do so if he was doing one arm pullups :P).

If I could do 50 one arm pullups in a day, GTG or otherwise, I'd be headlining some act for Cirque de Soleil ;D  Just to set the record straight, I can do about 0 on any given day...

I use OAP/OAC for one arm pullup/chin pretty interchangibly. I've been only doing negatives for these so they don't technically count towards the pullup numbers otherwise I would add them.

Anyway, I think I'm gonna go "light" today and do the CF muscle up workout so I guess each muscle up will be a pullup added. :P

BTW that's incredible ghost. You should definitely try to get those numbers up.
