PKMI 2007- Ann Arbor
« on: August 08, 2007, 06:18:31 PM »
This year PKMI is being hosted by myself and the University of Michigan Parkour Club in Ann Arbor, MI!

Saturday, September 22nd, 2007
Ann Arbor, MI

Feel free to show up on Friday or stay till Sunday or both. I have some floor space as will (probably) Kipup.

So mark your calanders, don't hesitate to ask questions, and stay tuned for more details as the day arrives.

DETAILS EDIT:
No gym, just bring dollas for lunch.

Yes, we'll have a BBQ at my place friday afternoon/ evening with some vollyball and swimming, and for those who feel up for it some night training. I want to start not much later than 11, so show up at 10 30 or so on saturday at the BSRB (109 Zina Pitcher Place Ann Arbor, MI 48109). There is a parking structure right next door and probably some free parking a couple blocks away.

Noooooo!

The ballet will be knee-deep in Nutcracker rehearsals by then, so there's no way I can make that date.  :'( Curses! My in-laws live not far from Ann Arbor, so I'd have a place to stay (and it would make visiting them more palatable, knowing there was some PK on the agenda).

;)

Do you guys have a regular training schedule? Maybe next time I go visit the in-laws I can meet up with you guys for an afternoon.

In any case, have fun at the jam!

Muse, thats a shame. However we train a couple times a week officially, and most every day unofficially, so any time you can make it here, there will be parkour.

Nice! I'll check my calendar -- hopefully it will work out :).

P.S. Muse, if/when you go feel free to invite your favorite training buddy... *cough* ;)

I am thinking of asking off but I need to see money situation first.

Is this just hitting the campus/ hotspots? Or is there a Gym involved, or other sort of activity/money?

Is there a BBQ or other activities for people coming early or staying late?
And if it's a day trip, about what time in the a.m. are you eyeballing getting started?

I might come up from Toledo for it, if all works to my favor.

The day is drawing nearer, I'd appreciate knowing who is coming for sure and who will need a place to stay. Can't wait to jam with everyone!

*cries* I sooo wish I could go! Dumb ballet.  >:(

Okay, I didn't really mean that. But I still wish I could go. I think Alex and Chad were thinking of coming. I don't want to speak for them, but I'll be sure to point them towards this thread so you can know for sure.

Hak, where in Chi-town do you live? I used to live there too. I spent four years on Devon and Cali, and another year in Bucktown by Western and Fully, and also some time down in Wicker Park.

Yeah, everybody in the suburbs does that when they are talking to out-of-towners :)

Which suburb to you live in?
