Working off a big meal/ Vacation...
« on: July 23, 2007, 11:05:12 AM »
Okay, so I'm leaving Wednesday for a week to go visit all of my relatives up in Indiana. And they make meals for 20 when we come up  :o. And even if I plan on watching how much I eat, it's still not gonna be a good diet for me by any means. Given my location and circumstances, is there any advice you could give me that would help me work it off without traveling much of anywhere? I know it's an awkward question, but yeah... thnx.

You could get up early each morning and go for a run.

Yeah, that was one of the first things I considered. Thanks

Just get some exercise... it will help. If I were you I would train VERY hard today, Tuesday and Wednesday so that when you do "overeat" the food will probably go towards building muscle mass.

Basically like Jesse and Will did with the Super accumulation program. Compress about 5 workouts into 3 days. 2 today, 1 tomorrow and 2 wed... or if you can't do two today then do 1 today, 2 tomorrow and 2 wed. This will beat you to crap, but the gains from supercompensation to your muscles will be awesome, hehe. :)

I just remembered that they DO have a fairly big garden out there, so I will try to incorporate more of those in my meals than the unhealthy foods.

There's this awesome new sport where you can find any environment and move in a bunch of challenging and creative ways throughout it. That sounds like it would be PERFECT! Too bad I can't remember what it's called... ::)

Gears,
Parents don't necessarily approve of Parkour, so that kinda makes it hard... And the fact that the only thing around where we will be is...flat plains lol. Good for running, not much else...

Rolling, QM, Long Jumps, Handstands, Walking on your hands for distance, Broad Jumps, Burpee/Broad Jumps, Sprints, Agility drills, imaginary precision jumps, imaginary one-footed precision jumps, imaginary handstand precision jumps...use your imagination, there's tons to do to keep busy. Pick two or three skills and combine them randomly in some challenging ways...like this:

Sprint 100m
10 Running Long Jump to Roll
Burpee/Broad Jump Back

Repeat x 10

Good luck ;)
