Bloomington?
« on: July 16, 2007, 07:27:46 PM »
Hey, Keyouse here. I have a friend or two that I pk with, but I was wondering if anyone would be able to come to Bloomington, IN. There are some good places over here, downtown, some parks, schools, ect. I am not a newbie, but I am definitely not pro. So professional people or newbies are fine. Just people.

Peace.

I work in Bloomington and live not to far away. I'd be interested in getting together with anyone who would be up for going over some things. I'm totally new to all this. I have a martial arts background, but am in no where near the shape I should or would like to be in. Life intervenes, you know?

Hey, I am a student at IU in Bloomington. There are several students who get together on Saturdays to train. I know I am a little late letting everyone know this since this discussion looks pretty old but anyone who is interested is very much welcome to come. There are typically at least 4 or 5 of us that are fairly dedicated traceurs and then there are usually a few people who are new and interested in learning, so we welcome anyone regardless of age or amount of experience even if you have never done any parkour. We meet Saturdays at 1 south of the campus library which is at 10th and Jordan. Its a little grassy area in between the library and the library's parking lot. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me. My email is dcashbau@indiana.edu. I check it pretty regularly so hopefully I will be able to respond even if you don't see this until Saturday at noon. Anyone who is interested should definitely come. Its a lot of fun and its good training. Hope to see some new faces soon.

Make with the stickiness please. Whatever that means?
I'm another student here at IU that it a dedicated traceur/free runner.
I live in Evansville during breaks and summer, so anyone from there can hit me up to train.

Oh, Ian I just got done replying to your SB post and saw this and then realized that you're the one that emailed me. So you're from South Bend and going to be starting at IU in the fall? That's great, you'll find that the pk in Bloomington is way better than in South Bend. Mostly because in Bloomington you will actually find more than 3 people who do it. But that's great that there is another person from South Bend for Adam and I to train with when we go back there. I look forward to meeting you and training with you.
