Well I'm trying to pick it up myself. I have no physical training at all, beyond having a couple months of tae-kwon-do back when I was like 8. (I'm over 30 now)
Mind you, right now I'm simply trying to get myself into shape more than anything. Decades of sitting on my butt and smoking, eating badly, etc... got a lot of work to do. Yeeehaw.
So don't think you have to have a background in gymnastics or anything, but it would help.
