during the fall i sell grapes at a farmers market, not those crappy pathmark grapes, these are fresh, and  picked ripe off the vine and driven down that day. I eat SOO MANY of them and i was just wondering if anyone (it will probally be gear, he either knows everything or is the mot convincing liar EVER) knows the benefits of eating grapes. Do they have anything to do with the Mediterranean diet, or is that olives?

The benefits of eating grapes? There are tons, especially if you're combining them with lean protein and healthy fats. I would say that for the majority of the population, the #1 benefit would be displacing otherwise overly refined foodstuffs. I love grapes.  I try to eat those (or an apple) during a morning or afternoon snack when I want something sweet.  Hell of a lot better than eating a cookie or something.
