PKMI 2007
« on: May 30, 2007, 03:42:32 PM »
So let's get MI back on the map with a PKMI this year. Ann Arbor would love to host a jam this summer, but if anyone else would like to host that's just fine. Let me hear your thoughts.

I think Ann Arbor would be sweet!  Are we talking in the summer or fall or what?

Let's do it around September, or sometime in the fall.  That way if people have friends at U of M, they can stay with them instead of worrying about driving back right after or finding a hotel to stay at.

Awesome, great idea! And finally my schedule has calmed down a bit. For me, best time is either in June, or later in August.

Okay, we have some good points to consider. If we do it early in the fall, the students will be back in town and all of the UofM Parkour Club will be able to join us and out-of-towners can stay with their friends. If we did have it a bit earlier, say mid to late August, I could definitely accommodate people. Also, if we held it in the fall, the Floridians can make it up. Levi, how does your schedule look in September, and are you going to be attending UM?

Perfect for me.  I have plenty of friends who go to UofM and I'll be closer to Ann Arbor once school starts again.

I hope you can make it out there Levi.  If I don't get back to TC before you leave, good luck in LA!

Okay lets set some tentative dates. The 15th and the 22nd of September are the third and fourth Saturdays of the month respectively. Anybody have any conflict with these dates?

So since ara_v_q is the only one with a preference, lets see what everybody says about the 22nd of September. We're still waiting on those of you that responded earlier but haven't confirmed these dates (shadow, matthew, levi).
