I was drilling my turn vaults one day and slammed my knee into a rail really hard, my knee was all swelled and bruised, not a pretty sight. So I went to the store and got a tube of extra strength Icy Hot cream, and a knee brace. Well, that was Friday, today is Tuesday and I noticed yesterday that a rash popped up on the area I put the cream on. So, any tips to help get the rash cleared up faster?

Well.. I would suggest not using the cream..

Other than that really you should probably just wait it out. Assuming it's not that serious (in which case you would probably be in the hospital instead..) then you've pretty much already passed the point where taking anything would be useful. For instance, stuff like Benadryl is often used as anti-allergic reaction medicine within a few hours.. but I mean it's already been a few days so your best bet is probably just to wait it out and stop using the cream.

Do you think if I took Benadryl along with using the cream that it would prevent the rash? because I love the cream and it works really well...it's just the rash is annoying

Umm.. not sure. If you really, really, really want to then ask a doctor cause mixing medications sometimes causes weird complications.
