Can't stride with only the balls of my feet?
« on: July 16, 2016, 06:57:06 PM »
Hello guys, I would love to have a bit of help on my stride. I know that if I am doing bigger precisions, it becomes impossible to only land on the balls of my feet due to the momentum, thats why we land on ledges and rails where we can grip the side of the landing spot with our feet. If we do broad jumps far enough on flat ground our heels have to hit the ground right?

But here is the thing, what should I do if I am striding a bigger distance? When I stride with smaller gaps, I can land on the balls of my feet every time, but with bigger stride when I try to land on the balls of my feet, my heels with hit the ground every single time which in my opinion is pretty stressful on my ankle (I am wearing feiyue, so almost no support). I tried to stride by first landing on my heel and roll to the balls of my feet, but thats just painful. Do all of you experience that?
