Webster Fear and Help
« on: May 24, 2015, 05:37:42 PM »
I'm trying to fix my Webster. When I run it on flat ground, I land on my bum (and it really hurts my tail bone). I'm need help with fixing my height.

I'm trying to spot my landing but it's kind of hard to do that when you land so low. Some people say they learned their flips off objects first. That's where my mental block comes in. If I land on my butt in flat ground, off a two foot ledge I can probably land it. But my brain is telling me "the higher you start, the harder you fall". Even if I try it off a one foot block, my technique goes all shady because my body tries to get low to the ground thus landing even worse than on flat ground.

So I need help with two things. Either fix my height and land it on flat ground or get rid of the fear and land it off a ledge and use that advantage to work on my flat ground Webster. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

This is a KEY concept you will need to be familiar with in order to do a lot of moves in the future.
