Can't rotate with the backflip
« on: November 07, 2014, 09:25:32 PM »
I can do a front flip from standing on the trampoline but when I try to do the back flip I have lots of trouble, and it's not because I'm hesitating or scared to do it. I really try but a lot of times I'll land on my upper back. Advice?

you want to rip them knees up hard, think in your head about getting your hips up higher than your head.

rolling backwards off a bed or something.  or a pull up bar or tree limb. jump up grab the tree branch and make yourself do the backflip motion, let go with your hands and land on the ground. then just keep doing it and making yourself rotate faster and faster.
remember to not throw your head back, once you begin to flip you can spot your landing but dont throw back thinking that will help you spin around. try to focus on something a little above eye level.
