The new Bourn movie....

has anyone seen the previews to the new bourn 3? Im not even sure if thats how u spell it but i saw a glimpse of what i can't say for sure but maybe some parkourish chase scenes in it?
anyone know anything?

I just saw the preview last night.  I hope what we see there is just the tip of the Iceburg.  Anyone know if any PK people were involved in the filming?

the only on foot stuff I saw was the start of a tic tac and a roof jump.  Cool but hopefully it will be better than that.

it looks like a stuntman imitating parkour. He probably put it on his resume and lied his ass off to get the job.

they did keep all of the shots for the trailer very short, but there is one at the very end that shows David (or Jason, of you like) jumping out a doorway, across a balcony and a small alley into a window in the other side. I'm not saying it's parkour, but he definitely is finding the most direct path through the enviroment.

david webb is jason bourne's real name. i don't know if it's in the movies, but in the books "jason bourne" is an alias he invents when he goes after the assassin Carlos the Jackal (who also isn't in the movies). david also goes by the codename "cain."

in case you didn't know, the books are nothing like the movies

Aaah I see. Thanks for clearing that up. And I have heard that the books are nothing like the movies. I read 3 Ludlum novels in a row (none of the Bourne trilogy), and found they were all exactly the same, just with different names, time frames and locations. Since then I haven't read another Ludlum.. maybe I should go give the Bournes a shot...

at the very end of the Supremacy, Bourne calls the blonde lady in her office as he is standing across the street...she give him his real name then.

I think they set it up so that the movie has stunts, but they probably have no intentions of promoting parkour in the making of the film. A lot of movies lately have had people on here yelling "look look, he did parkour", but let's be honest, everyone here tries to find some bit of parkour in the media, when what we should be doing is getting larger clips, (and safer, by the way)...

I really don't think we should be saying "see, see? That roof jump was parkour" because then we're going to be seeing everyone thinking that just the dangerous stunts are parkour.

I do think that Bourne (the character) had a lot of training while he was an operative in the CIA, and a lot of that training probably did have stunts similar to the movements learned through Parkour, but I don't think that you'll see a lot of that in the movie.

The other thing is that I do completely agree with Casper, EVERY SINGLE Ludlum book is the same. They are way too similar to be worth reading. I read 3 in a row, and I was BORED OUT OF MY MIND. I'll never read him again, but I think that they did an excellent job with the movies and I can't wait to go to the theaters for this last one... I'm just afraid that they'll do a bad job of ending the trilogy, which is a high possibility.

hmm...I actually think that this last movie is going to be amazing. I think the identity was superb, but the supremacy dropped off a little bit, so they're going to fix everything and make this one ree-diculous.

I heard something about there being an actual Traceur in the production of the movie. So I'm assuming that they were smart about it. Although I don't think there will be any actual parkour chase scenes of anything, considering the fact that it's a movie, and judging by the previous bourne movies...

I saw the Bourne Ultimatum today, and its a really good movie regardless of any parkour like movements.  However there wasn't really anything that was out of the ordinary in terms of chase scenes besides him jumping into windows.
