Gene:
wow, i'm pretty bad at this:

August 9th: 4-ish hours of climbing. of course, not all 4 hours were climbing, but i still pumped out my arms
August 10th: another 4-ish hours --more serious climbing, more pumped out arms. then 2 hours open gym, but i burned out at around 1.5 hours.
i took the 11th off, but i am planning on going to a jam tomorrow (12th).

Gene:
4+ hour jam today. mostly just random moving around, but i took this opportunity to finally start learning the split foot take-off for kongs. very good to be moving again.

Gene:
8/13: 15 minute run
8/14: 15 minute run in the morning, and a swim in the afternoon --> 8x100 freestyle with 30 seconds between each one
8/15: Swimming: Two sets of: 1x200 (1 min break), 2x100 (30 seconds between each one)

Gene:
2x 400 free today.

Slowly working back into swimming. Tomorrow, i leave for LA for the weekend, so it'll be back to calisthenics for a few days. Should be a good change. I took a break from running because i'm getting tendinitis in my ankles, which is strange since i've run up to 5 miles with no problems even after my sprains. I'm thinking it could be the 15 lbs i put on in shanghai. Anyway, i'm doing ankle conditioning, and hopefully will be able to get back to it next week.
