I'm so new, any help I would love =D
(1/1)
Emily:
Hello,
I am completely new to Parkour/Free Running. (Newbie for sure!) I have been doing a LOT of research into this art, and I REALLY want to get into it. I'm a teen and female. I have a bit to explain, it's kind of hard too ^^. I would be dedicated to Parkour, so whatever help I can recieve I will take to mind. I live in Maryland away from DC and Parkour is really sparse, meaning I haven't found someone to truly help me yet. I run Track and Cross Country(though just started XC) so I am use to some rigerous workouts. The problem is I need help formig a workout plan. I really need someone to help me set it up. I guess I am the kind of person that just needs someone to tell me word for word where I should start, (and I really have looked around at everything, there is just so much!!) Even if it is a links and some explanations I think it would help me more. I decided to post here because fitness is where I really want to start. I try to go running eveyday (3 miles) I can do pushups, squats, situps easily. I hope I am not a bother XD I unfortunately do not have access right now to weight equipment. If there are tips on how to practice the things that would be used with weight equipment at home it would be so nice!! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH for your help!
Em,
PS. sorry if there was an obvious link somewhere, I read the 'read first" section too ^^ Thanks again!
Sam Dutton:
Read the sticky, then try and come up with some goals.
Alec Furtado:
Yup, read! All the resources you need are contained in the stickies, those threads at the top of each board with a push-pin on them. Go through those and then come back with any questions. Sounds like you're in some good shape though, that's a good start!
