good parkour conditioning?

Can someone post an exercise conditioning routine for  a 13 year old? I want a moderately heavy workout, one that will work within a few weeks! Thanks for all who help :D

Your aren't going to see drastic results in "a few weeks". working a muscle takes time, some don't see any results for months. Are you willing to use weights, or are you sticking to Calisthenics?


Also, what are your goals? How long are you willing to reach these goals? "a few weeks" is too broad of a statement.

I was hoping sticking to calisthenics, because I heard if I use weights at my age, it hurts my body somehow.

For children (i.e. anyone under 18 since they have not finished growing), growth plates can be damaged if they train with weights, but have only been reported in situations where there was inadequate supervision, improper form, or excessive weight and there have been no reports of injuries in growth plates in youth training programs that followed established guidelines. If you are not 100% confident that your form is proper then it would be best to either seek out supervised help or defer to calisthenics. If you are dead set on weight training your school might allow you to use their weight room.

This still doesnt answer my questions somthing like:
Pushups x50
Situps x50.....

Somthing with upper, lower and core muscle condition...

To save Steven the trouble, what are your goals? Also Steven's website(www.eatmoveimprove.com) has comprehensive info about bodyweight training.

Sorry about that. ;D my goals arent to get unbelivable buff, just strong enough to do parkour effectivly.

There is no one here who will construct a routine for you because we want you to learn how to do it for yourself so that you can do it for yourself in the future. Post up if you want a critique after you make one along with the goals that you decided on.

That's not specific nor measurable.

"I want to be able to do a set of 10 parallel bar dips" is a specific and measurable goal.  Put a timeline on it and now you're getting somewhere.  Once you have that goal, then you construct a routine that helps you go from doing 0 pb dips, to 10 over a period of a few months.  Post the routine and we'll give our opinions on whether or not it would help.

As he said it can hurt growth I guess but I'm well over six foot and I've been conditioning with pushups pull ups planches etc for over a year with a few  weights thrown in and it hasn't hurt me yes I apologize for lack of punctuation I'm sleepy and as a side note LISTEN TO STEVEN
