Scuffing Up Walls
« on: May 17, 2012, 04:14:33 PM »
I noticed today on a cat, that my Vivobarefoot Evo's left black marks on this smooth concrete wall. I only noticed it on this wall, however; I would like to know how to solve this problem. Has anybody ever had any experience with a problem like this?

Do you feet slide when you cat leap? I made sure my feet don't slide, because the sound is ugly, and I havn't left a mark on anything since then(that was 1.5 years ago, it might just be my shoes now don't leave marks, but I don't think so.)

That's never happened to me. Aren't the soles of Vivos really rubbery? Or maybe it was just really hot today and the shoes, I don't know...started melting? If that keeps happening you might want to consider:

1) Not going to that specific wall
2) Not using those specific shoes
3) Bringing a towel and some water to clean off the marks when you're done

You have to be careful about that, you don't want people to think that you're vandalizing property because of your shoes. That's why nobody brings chalk with them when they go outside and train (obviously that's a ridiculous idea in the first place, I'm probably the only one who's even thought of doing that. Quickly shot that idea down after consideration).
