Athletes foot sorta?
« on: April 28, 2012, 07:46:14 PM »
So I don't know why or how since I haven't been to any public showers or pools or anything but my feet are peeling revealing soft skin that was under the rough what is going on I thought it was athletes foot but it isn't  could it just be I haven't trained barefoot in so long it doesn't need the rough anymore or could this be something serious?

Probably just because you haven't trained barefoot in a while. Short of being blisters, I suspect your rough armor that you developed on your foot was knocked loose from the soft underskin.

Is it itchy? If it is, then it's something you might want to get checked out.

Now I have a question. Given that they're not blisters (happened to me before), is it better to peel off the loose skin?

Calluses peeling and rubbing off are normal if you're out barefoot a lot.

Though, if there's odors or signs of infection or anything like that then it may be a good thing to take to a doctor

I peel skin off my feet all the time, It comes off feeling like a toe nail. Mainly Big and Second toe and the balls of my feet. It's something that comes with going barefoot
