Anyone else really disappointed with this ?

From the televised World Freerunning Championships on UK TV to MTV's Ultimate Parkour Challenge to G4's Jump City

It's been one show and done

Are there any new shows on the horizon ?

What needs to change to get these shows to rate better ?

I don't count Sasuke and American Ninja Warrior as a parkour/freerunning tv show

Can't say I'm dissapointed. Must of it was commercialized rubbish and they rarely do something positive for the community or parkour. But im sure it will pop up soon again.

Regarding parkour on TV I am not really that interested personally. I'd rather train than look at the TV. I have no clue of how many people in the public that are looking at these shows.

I was just thinking about this a week or so ago; it was a year ago that I was watching Jump City and looking forward to another season. Ah, well. Maybe they realized that we should be doing it ourselves and not watching other people do it.
Age is just another obstacle. Get over it.

Not enough people know about parkour/freerunning yet, and these shows don't advertise well enough to get large audiences, so until parkour is bigger, or they are willing to fork out tons of money for advertising, these shows will die away.

Try the new Beevis and Butt-head, or maybe find on-line clips of All American Gladiators, that shit was the bomb.

So long as I have parkour I'm okay.
