Needing help on my raiz!

I'm always really cautious (perhaps overly cautious) when learning a move, so it always looks stiff and unnatural before I get it. This one's no different. Apparently I even managed to look way back without arching back, so I know I need to work on that.

But what I haven't been able to fix this whole time is height! As you can see, I have to catch myself to avoid faceplanting every time. It seems like I start falling as soon as my other foot leaves the floor.

Does anyone have recommendations on how to fix my raiz--form, height, or otherwise?

I actually need help with my raiz too.. I'd really like to get it for a raiz cork (already have a cork) but can't figure out the raiz for the life of me..

Mine looks similar to yours except I don't have to catch myself from going down so fast, although I have a hard time getting it around.

Nice! With his explanation, it does make more sense to progress from TD raiz to regular raiz. But I'm still curious as to how Prodigy gets his raiz so high! Is it just a matter of kicking?
