Is this a knee problem?
« on: February 07, 2012, 05:27:37 AM »
Lately I've been doing a lot of dumbbell squat jumps and just regular dumbbell squats to get my jump to have a more explosive beginning and a greater vertical distance. But recently everything I go down to a squat position, my knees make a small pop sound. This "pop" doesn't hurt but I wanted to make sure I wasn't damaging my knees by neglecting this sound.  :-\

Shouldn't be much of an injury, your knees are probably a bit stressed, so they pop. Just give it a bit of a break before continuing this.

Whether it is life itself, or anything in life, it can be overcome.

Robert: Thanks for the advice ^^ +1
Steven Low: Alright I read the article and in the section "Joint clicking" I saw that "if it is painless it is fine. I agree with this assessment especially if you have always had it.", This completly answers my question, i'm not even feeling the clicking, I just hear it and i wanted to know if it would cause me future problem or muscle strain. Thank you for a fast response and answer  ;D +1
