I recently aquired this hollister hoodie. As everyone in my school has one of these damn things, and that is NOT an exageration, I want to make it unique. I am requesting ideas on how to modify it. I was thinking of trying to replicate one of the jackets that the Anger class in Brink can get, but I figured that would both not work and be kinda try-hardish (Sorry I can't ccome up with a better way to describe it, but my vocabulary tends to shrink based on hours awake and caffeine imbibed.) Any suggestions will be appreciated, just don't be a total idiot about it, like saying "Just put LEDs and duct tape."

Scrape the letters off and make it say holster.
Sew patches on it.
Mask the letters of hollister and so cal, then tye dye it. (

)
Shred it a bit then sew it back together, for a Frankenstein look. (scars and such.)
Sew different fabric over the cuffs and hood changing the overall look, yet keeping the hollister status.
You could always sew a different fabric on the inside making it awesome.
I dunno man. Just stick some led's in the zipper pull and duct tape that thing.

Two bad-ass ideas...

Line-it with fire-crackers and bottle rockets, tie the fuses and light them all at once. (C) for imagery.

Tear all the letters off the coporate giant's shirt, show that you're not a mindless hoodie jockey. Then, take a sander and deliberately shred it into a rag, then wear it. When people ask, "What are you wearing?!" You say, "Something improved from what you're wearing."

Put a strip of see through dark black mesh on the hood, and a zipper going up it. So that you can truly ninja yourself into society. (Maybe think about a mouth and nose set of mesh.)

Thanks for the ideas, guys. You're great. I've got mum taking a seam-ripper to the logo, so the corporate shilling will be a non, but it's gonna be a while. Which is great, 'cause it gives me more time to pick what to do. Great ideas all. Also, opinions please: I've got an old Sov-Un. Para (Airborne?) patch I was thinking of putting on. Should I? Or is soviet things a bad idea? Thanks again for the feedback, and please keep it coming.
UPDATE: She got the logo off already. I did not notice this, even though the shirt was in my room the entire time i've been home, and I threw some stuff on top of it just a bit ago. :-/

Just remember that you don't ruin the scheme of the sweater and turn it from cool to tacky. That would not be good.

The patch is a lighter blue than the hoodie. Is this a problem?

Not at all. Like I said just dont to so much to the hoodie that it's multiple schemes going on at once. it will be tacky and saddening. Try to keep it simple and still unique.

I think I'll go with just the patch then. Maybe the serviceman's proficiency pin i've got, but I'll leave it at that. I've seen some ott stuff, and you're right: it don't look pretty. For the patch though: Where should I put it? Shoulder, I would guess, but I really don't know.

Will do! The reason I asked was 'cause I wanted to at least be historically correct with the placement, even if it is on a hollister hoodie. (I know, ocd, bla bla bla.

) I found a pic, so I'm gonna go off that. I'll make sure to post a pic or two, prolly some time tonight yet. (Still waiting for it to get out of the dryer so I can sew the patch on) Thanks for the help!

I think the best hoodie mever would be a plain, white hoodie, not too thick, and cutting back the bottom sides of the hood. And along with that there'd some extra fabric going up the hoodie at a forward angle up until the tip of the hood, which would form a "beak". Oh, and also a tight, zipped pocket or two around the hip or ribs area for a phone and music player.

Attach Wrist Gauntlets and Spine Protector with Sheath. Sew in hidden compartments for throwing knives and excess ammunition.

Or Thread metal wire through out the whole hoodie. This way the hoodie will way more(weight vest), thus giving you a work out everytime you wear it

Or you could just sew on a PK Patch
