Need advice on round offs
« on: January 29, 2012, 07:32:19 PM »
So i can do alot of different flips and good handstands. But for some reason i cannot do a round off or a cartwheel to save my life. I step properly , place my right hand with my fingers facing my left leg and my left hand's fingers facing right. My legs can never seem to come straight or come together until the very end of the flip. I mainly practice on my trampoline, but i cant grasp to concept of shrugging my shoulders at all. I always remove 1 hand from the ground at a time and my left hand usually is still touching the ground when my legs land. Can someone please run me through the trick and explain to me what im doing wrong?

I would need to see it, but I would say you main problem is that you're doing it on a trampoline...
This post was based off of my personal gatherings. Enjoy:)

^Like he said, learn it on ground. And show a video if you still need help.

I can't stress how important visualization is. If you can picture yourself doing the move then you will be a lot more confident when you begin to attempt it.
