The first I got was the front flip. I first learned it on a trampoline, then on ground. I used pillows and couch cushions so if I landed on my neck it wouldn't kill me. I also used a small ox about 1 foot tall to jump off of. the best advice I have when learning the front is to use your arms as momentum and to grab your ankles not your knees.

The second I learned was the backflip. I was always afraid to learn them so it took me a long time to build up the courage. Again I learned them first on a trampoline then moved to a padded floor. I actually went to a gymnastics gym where they had a spring floor.

I have yet to get the side flip. I hope to learn it soon. Though I can do an Arial (no handed cartwheel)
2 Samuel 22
30 For by you I can run against a troop; By my God I can leap over a wall.
33 God is my strength and power, And He makes my way perfect.
34 ...he sets me on my high places.
37 you enlarged my path under me; so my feet did not slip.
