We have 14 entries that qualify for the APK frontpage banner contest. Thanks to everyone who submitted an entry!

Please discuss the entires to help us decide on 5 finalists which will be put up for voting.

I'm a fan of 2, 3, 8. However, the one I would choose for a banner would be #12. It's a nice simple concept of jumping, which we all know is important in parkour.

i like 7/8 and 11 the most.

i also dig 14, and to a lesser extent 3, but that's biased because they are mine.

By the way, I can change the picture used in eleven, if needed. Also, if by some odd chance it goes through, I'd like to be able to clean it up a bit.

2, 5, 10, and 12 are my favorites, not including 11.

My favorite is #8 Leon's "Move as One".
I also really liked 2, 3, and 10.

I like #8 by Leon, but the typography / text placement is pretty bad ;]
Otherwise I would really like #6 if it had a different photo [like said.] So my vote is for #6.

APK has a very Clean and simple design. I think number 12 matches the site the best while still conveying Parkour well. 11 and Leon's do the same as well.

yeah, 12 goes very well with current blue/white background of the site and blends well with the APK logo. 5 is also very clean too.

11 is mine, Zeus. I just don't have any pictures of myself, so I searched the APK picture database. Hope he doesn't mind.

Personally, I think I could clean up the logo itself a little bit more, lighted up the scan lines, and maybe put a different picture in. Possibly a different border as well.

Also, I like both of LeonN's, but I think they should be mixed. I enjoy the effect in the top right of #7, but I don't like the snow effect in it. And I like the words in #8 a bit more too.

I really like #11, aside from the yellow border. Looks nice! All the other ones are really good too but need a wee bit more in terms of editing.

After looking at a bunch of these again, I think it'd be cool to rotate them ocasionally because their are so many good designs.

(#7, free) - great composition! i'd prefer it without the grain and text on the left and i like the more contrasty logo color used in #8. i can see some photoshopped motion trails really spicing this one up. (a la those nokia ads UF did: http://www.urbanfreeflow.com/media/images/asid_large.jpg)

LeoNn edits: I am SOOO Sorry but I accidentally hit the "Edit" button instead of "Quote" and started writing my reply. I then hit save and didn't realize I didn't make a new post until I couldn't find mine... then I saw yours and I Was like uh oh...

my qualms with monkey flow is the prevault, i really think it looks excellent but im not so hot on that part.

#9 #11 #12 are very good because you cant really identify the person so its a good general representation of parkour.

I like #10 alot but theres too many pictures to really focus on so you just gloss over it.
