FIsh oil is anti-inflammatory... if you use your wrists a lot it can wear on the cartilage, but cartilage like other tissues can repair to a certain extent. Thus, keeping down inflammation can help improve some of the healing

would u recommend fish oil over, say, ibuprofen?

Fish oil has widespread health benefits more than anti-inflammatory drugs... so yes.
