I've searched and surprised to find no one else has torn their TFCC and posted about it here on APK.
It seems I've torn my TFCC in my left wrist. My research seems to suggest I have just about all of the symptoms (pain when twisting such as turning a key, occasional clicking, a few others) and it's my understanding it's the most common injury for this part of the wrist. Check out the diagram!

With the time of year bringing lots of traveling there is no point for me to visit a doctor, get an MRI, and have surgery (only if it's necessary) without spacing them over several weeks. In addition, it will cost far less insurance wise to wait until January. So I'm pretty much just chillen in a brace for a few more weeks.
Is there anything more I should know or do?
Thanks for the time!
UPDATE: Turns out I did not tear my TFCC, I merely had a big, bad bone bruise (say that three times fast). It's true. After the MRI and a couple visits it turns out that it wasn't anything that required surgery or a cast, only time and patience.
There was some bad news, however. She briefly mentioned "thinning of the TFCC" which seems to suggest that my TFCC is still at risk. She suggested rethinking my hobbies or at least wear a wrist brace while I train. Any thoughts?
