New front flip vid
« on: December 05, 2011, 05:09:37 PM »
In my other vid you couldn't see my takeoff but on this one you can. This is a day after landing my first front flip. Not a side angle but best I could do. Tips on how could I improve or what I'm doing wrong.  Here it is:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgTp_ZAnJdQ&feature=g-upl

That looks really really good already. I can't tell how bent your legs are, but they probably could be bent slightly more so you can jump higher, although you already have some really good timing. For more rotation you can test out putting your arms behind you more if it suits you, so you have more room to throw em. From what I heard, it helps in the beginning to keep your arms straight when you throw them down because it puts more weight behind it. It's not necessary though, you've already landed it, and soon if you keep practicing you'll figure it out without actually knowing what you fixed.
