What Ryan said

Congrats on the speed vault.

And its not that we don't like you or anything. We just spent years figuring things out on your own. Now that we are here to help we appreciate the opportunity to teach others, such as yourself, and share what we've learned. But if you don't go try to learn things on your own its going to go in one ear and out the other and we worry that you won't progress the way you truly want to and in the end will be unhappy.

Sometimes hard work and figuring things out the hard way are a good thing. Just be safe and train slow. There isn't a right way to everything so maybe our answers aren't as good for you as the kind you would find on your own.

Just to make sure its clear I'm not saying to leave. Not at all. We like having you here. I'm just saying to try experimenting a little more before you post, you may learn more or something different than we can teach you.
10 push ups.

Slippery-ness is an obstacle, conquer it!

Yeah. Daniel, you're not unbearable, but....well, look at it this way. If you've ever learned how to ride a bike,  you probably remember that sometimes you made mistakes and fell a few times. After a while, you get the hang of things and you can ride that bike like a pro. It's just like that with some things you have to accomplish. I doubt that when you first learned how to ride a bike, you picked up a manual and read a few hundred pages or researched for hours and hours. The skill just came naturally, as it will with parkour. The techniques you want to learn (in this case a speed vault) will just take practice and effort on your behalf. We can't walk you through everything, because one day when we let go you'll forget how to walk.
