Read the sticky. And read the articles that are listed.
Eatmoveimprove's site about bodyweight training is excellent.
Also, come up with some solid, quantifiable goals.

I'm not sure what you mean by "tone" ?

Tone isn't a good word.

You want to get stronger, And you want your muscles to hypertrophy.

So, you need to lift heavy things, but if that isn't possible, Eatmoveimprove.com has great articles on bodyweight training.
And you need to eat, a lot to fuel the growth.

So, by tone I'm assuming you mean an increase in muscle size and decrease in bodyfat percentage? Can you give us some numbers of where you want to be? ie. gain 15 lbs and reduce bodyfat percentage from 14% to 9%. I'm making numbers up, but you get the idea.

Your best bet would be to gain muscle and fat until you are as strong/ big as you want to be and then lose the fat. You also should look at your diet, probably add alot more protein and lose the processed carbs and fats.

Also, I live in Maryland, and the snow isn't that bad. You might be able to find a gym nearby. You're gonna have a hard time working legs with only bodyweight exercises.

Can't tell if serious. When you eat you put on fat? How are you going to run if you're "trapped in your house all winter"?

...grrrrrr.....

Tone as in muscle popping out of the skin but not getting larger

Well, then obviously, we're going to need to remove the skin.  It's getting in the way. :-Sarcasm

I don't even...

I'm assuming you're doing cardio to lose weight/ fat. However, your diet has a much larger impact of your bodyfat than any amount of "cardio" you do.

There is absolutely no reason to do 2 hours of running unless you're a half or full marathon runner. You would be better served doing some shorter sprints, either around a track or uphill. Stairs are fun too. Running for two hours straight will not get you the body you want. It will get you skinny and weak.

Let the man do what he wants to do.

Apparently he created this thread for no reason at all because he obviously wants to do what he wants to do and is ignoring any advice.

There is a resources section in the article that links to various exercise progressions and whatnot.
