I've had a word document I kept for training purposes for the past 2 months but I decided to start posting online as it will push myself to do better cause all the other cool kids are reading this too now  ;D

We like what we are good at and we are good at what we like.

In other words, even if the WOD isn't your favorite thing, the more regularly you do it, the better you become, the more you like it.

It's the same with Parkour practice.

Now is now. I workout everyday and love it. I practice Parkour and do it as well maybe better then Sebastien Foucan. I am fit, look good, and eat balanced meals with all the right vitamins and supplements. I have a 3.5 in college because I set time aside for homework and studying. I call my family and friends at least 4 times a week, but obviously more when I feel like it. I am the man I want to be with a bright future that I will make.


This is a training log of all my workouts. It has my goals listed and will be used to compare myself to previous dates. They are ordered and numbered so I can easily find which workouts I can compare.

(Goals mind you, I'm not saying I do all these things but I will one day.)

2/12/07

First online post. Just finished a 2 hour parkour training session with the club. eating a Trail Mix fruit and nut bar. Drinking water. My pecs are sore from weight lifting over the weekend. I'm excited about this upcomming weekend because the film club wants to shoot my video and edit it for me. Also saturday is another introductory meeting. I've been training much harder in the past 2 months. I got a haircut and feel refreshed. I'll post up daily logs of my workout and what I eat to maintain my goals!

12:38am time for sleep. 9am wakeup tomorrow.

9am wakeup. meditation from 10 for 30 minutes. Hopefully getting some food then class at noon.

11:30 Not the healthiest breakfast - just a bunch of Cheerios and lots of water. Class till 4 then I'm going for the WOD.

Couldnt fit in the WOD but I got in my 2 mile run of the day. Practiced handstands indoor for about 30 minutes with a few friends of mine, best I held it for was 19 seconds!!!! wooo new record =D

Finished the night with an 8 minutes ab workout and my daily 100 pushups.

Obviously, a very busy day. Couldn't even fit in a run but I did get a good hour of my handstand practice that I've been wanting to do so badly. It was more of a hangout with friends and screw around type thing but it worked! No 8 min abs of pushups today im dead tired.

Previous days I've been going out for 2 hour runs in order to spot my locations for my next film! wooooot! Im excited because the American Movie Productions club here on campus is filming for me, all I have to do is tell them what to film and they'll follow me around.

Intro PK meeting this past saturday wasnt as great as I expected but we recruited a few new members! That brings our total to 14 regular attendees.

Anyhow, haven't done any "Workouts" but I have been running and practicing handstands.

We had a nice warm up run monday, went running tuesday, and yesterday night we had an AWESOME turnout - 8 peeps this time. Since all of us knew the basics it really was more of a run and drill session then a jam. It felt great. I expect full out jog/runs by the end of the year!

Relaxing from my training for about a week, I think I overworked my thighs. Feels like a strain I 'll see. Im still going out night to teach teh newbies ;)

Workout:
2 x 400m sprints
5 x 200m sprints
10 x 50m sprints

Anytime I sprint to the max I end up puking, so I did these at around 70~90% of my speed. Didn't have a stopwatch on handy but I had a wall clock and got under 10 minutes. Makes me happy, last time I did this I got 15. I guess running everyday helps with these things!

Decided I had enough rest. Have some sort of cold but meh...

Workout- "Broken Angie" 10 rounds of the following for time:
10 Pull-Ups
10 Push-Ups
10 Sit-Ups
10 Squats

This wasn't terribly difficult. I suprised myself with the pull ups. I had to cut them down to 8 in the last 3 rounds but I got em done. Took me a slow 23 minutes.

9:56. I'm feeling a little under the weather and last night's PK run was a bit traumatizing with our first sprained ankle for Parkour VT. We did more strength conditioning then anything last night - not sure if you've seen the video:

got some awesome ideas. We basically trained for 2 hours and my shoulders are definetely feeling it. Burpees werent too hard in the beginning but after 40 it was like WTF GIMME A MINUTE TO REST!  :-*

Had a great day at Primal. Preformed Cindy when I got home - did 8 rounds then got too tired. Nice step up from last time. I got the swinging muscle up at the end of primal sesssion!

Run 400m
25 Burpees

~10 minutes, didnt have an approximate stopwatch. This was much easier then last time I did it because of trhe running section. I guess running a few miles every day really does make the difference.

20 Jump Rope Double Unders (Rope makes two passes for each jump)
10 Sit-Ups
20 Lunge-With-Twist (Alternating legs, 10 each side)
10 Back Extensions


19 minutes or so. The push ups were difficult (WOW!) cause I overextended my right elbow yesterday PUSHING MATS AT THE GYM! GAHHHHHHHHH!
1 week, 3 days and counting untill SPARTAN WORKOUT MONTH!

Workout: Strength Circuits: Perform the following, one exercise after the other, resting 2:00 at the end of the circuit, then repeating for a total of 5 circuits:
Handstand Push-Up x 6
L Pull-Up x 6
Dive-Bomber Push-Up x 8
Strict Pull-Up w/ pause @ top x 8
Rest 2:00 and repeat.

after the 2nd round I was going weak. I was doing much better on the handstand pushups then I thought, it was the L pullups that killed me. Took me a TOTAL of 26 minutes including 2 minute breaks in between.
